Phenominal Eclipse Poem by Ntozake (Saki) Stringfield

Phenominal Eclipse

Stars laid their path across my love
a design so intricate it is not to be understood
I feel him when the sun is high, shining from above
then I feel the other when the moon glows
Darkness falls and bathes me in cloak
shielding my soul as my heart loves them both

Tearing away my desire
does not come I am torn
Chest afire with separated love can only be a horror
The Sun held my love first then the moon returned and love was reborn

Sun rays have held me in times of pain
moonbeams hold me as the suns light fades
Rainbows in the sky even in the rain
Keeps my love alive as the sun shines and I stand in the shade

I would make a wish for the sun to cross the moon
a phenominal eclipse
to murder the unprecedented desire in loves tomb
My love wont die
It will travel to the center of my soul and abide
