Phoenix Blessing Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Phoenix Blessing

Clouds forming whitely behind statuesque mountains,
climbing towards the sky.
Wind gusting slowly, sending a gentle breeze to
waft their scent to nature's abode.
Light foliage straddling sides of rocky cliffs,
spreading their green hues colorfully over desert
brown-red tones.
A natural rock-hewn Monk, kneeling on the edge of
a cliff prays day and night, blessing Phoenix with
his gentle quiet voice and presence.
