Picasso Poem by João Tomaz Parreira

Picasso

Picasso gives us Things
which disorganize our eyes
The lines fly parallel
but later they break away
The faces begin
suddenly by profile
The olden Demoiselles
a today’s shape tomorrow is no more
Picasso leaves the head
our head, irreparable.
