There are things that you can pick for yourself
Who your friends are as part of your wealth
And who your partner is to spend your time
When you live your life it can be divine

But sometimes circumstances will outshine
What you have to contend or to find
There are certain things that will happen
That you cannot pick in matters then

So should you be happy with what will occur
Or always be wishing for even more.
