Beauty is made for the eyes
Breakfast is made for morning
And all my life and in all of my time
I've sought your face like Jacob did to God
Praying for a second chance with you
Like King Hezekiah did on his knees
Maybe it will all make sense at the end
If you return before I cast my soul away

Being with you is my eternal dream
Being cuddled in your arms is my daily goal
I may have neglected the privilege of asking
You out when you threw green cards at me
I may have been too shy to let out how I feel
Yet my insatiable desire to be with you and
The picture of the dream I hold of you has
Caused me sleepless nights over a decade.

And despite the hurdles of predicament
Your thoughts still snows on the edge of
My sanity because your love is the breath
I've always wanted to keep me through
But I wait! Even if it's the last of my will...
I will gladly give up on my regrets and
Embrace the happiness within my soul
