Pier Comforts Poem by Walterrean Salley

Pier Comforts

Rating: 5.0

The pier's comfortable,
And I am wowed.
Folks come and go—
But there's no crowd.

Some to sit.
Some to chat.
And some for even
More than that.

Some to fish.
But others take notion
To peer across
The vast blue ocean.

Lost in thought
And in devotion
Within their own world
Of emotions.
