Pile Them On Poem by Randy McClave

Pile Them On

I have given you dozens of chances
And dozens of make up dances,
I'm very understanding, I forgive and I forget a lot
Even when you are red handedly caught.
But, of course I will forgive you for goodness sakes
Because, I know that we all make stupid mistakes,
No one is perfect, especially not me
Look into the mirror and mistakes you will see.
But, if you want to lose me completely and forever
Just betray my trust once, in any endeavor,
Then I will carry that grudge unto the tomb
Then I promise you this, you will find gloom.
You might be surprised by the weight that I can carry
I can carry more and still be wary,
I have room for your problems before I am gone
So, just pile them on.
