Pilgrim

I went away
to weaken The,
strengthen A,
Zeitgeist,
and largely colored The,
as A was largely lost,
never having been enough,
deficient in what replaced it,
and like me,
weak in modern stuff.

At a locational shrine,
I rubbed a type
who does not seek
a rub-off of magic,
but is it, is that shrine,
embodies it,
and is rubbed by those
for whom the locational stuff
of place
proves not soft enough.
