'Pinares' English Version. Poem by John F. Bisner Ureña.

'Pinares' English Version.

Under the pastel clouds of heaven the pine groves
meet that in the shade of the fields reflect their wishes,
the moon waits calmly on high, illuminating
sturdy pine trees that fresh yawn at night.

Ragged silence of black oaks that it preserves in its
mountains the sad old age of the Quercus Ilex Mediterranean
that surrounds there reigning the vigorous mountain range
that lulls them to their roots.

Holy waters run under her skirt plowing soil
perverse of hardness where living beings err that
they take advantage suffering the attacks between
pine forests in the warlike mother nature that
does not forgive.
