Pity's Rest Poem by james watkin

Pity's Rest

Against her shoulder, as soft
With strands of hair draped over
That hung, in private bower
Cheek-brushing and scented, lies
Pity's rest; peace, recuperative.
Equal in a tender-true
Courtesy; peculiar to
Feminine, florid sighs!
