''people are morally justified on doing anything in the world, as long as they won't hurt other people and allow everyone else the same privilege.'' well said, Luka. We all are just human beings, namely living creatures 'product' of a biological evolution. As I'm not a believer (I'm agnostic) I'm not interested in arguing who-&-why 'created' us and the universe.. the important thing is just the fact that all of us are equal, so “thou shalt love thy neighbor as yourself” is a 'must' also for non religious people like myself. And we have to particularly respect all those persons who are suffering.. Transgenders suffer their situation because of a society, a culture, which dislikes any 'diversity'... Then, thanks for sharing your write, Luka, I praise your choice. WELCOME AT POEM HUNTER!
Ignorance is a disease. A disease of uneducated prejudice. All humans have the right, as you so eloquently state, to express who they are, just so long as it doesn't harm anyone. Offending some ignorant moral view does not harm. Wonderfully written, Luka. Thank you for sharing. Peace
Very wonderful sharing definitely. Wisely drafted poem shared here in wonderful way...10
Times have changed...I am from a genre that generally abhorred alternate love & lifestyles...That said, I am still alive & am living in a new genre...one of more acceptance and less stoneheadedness. I applaud your effort and even as a practicing Roman Catholic I must say, Although my own personal preferences may differ from that as your friend...Because I am a Roman Catholic and have taken heed to Pope Francis' recent comments of acceptance, I have an obligation to accept & respect any persons right to be who &they want to be & what makes themselves feel most comfortable living in their own flesh & blood for a liferime...Kudos, Luka! ~FjR~
