Planting Happy Thoughts Poem by Floy Dy Ra Aka Floyd Floydson

Planting Happy Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

Try to catch a thought
with a butterfly net
while your synapses
lead the impulse
to the neighborhood
electric news
need no shoes
they tour with the light
leaving only a beam
if could have been seen
caught by his wings
now in captivity
a thought found you
during you think
was it a fate wink
But the thought
had no name
to put in its proper place
only an info
quick as
speed
wearing no
tweed
a nymph - oh
anonymous
no flesh
no bleed
goggled at me
in my presence of mind
before the caught thought
give up the ghost
and last dimly shine
of my comic fellow
was clever planted again
in my brain
to give him
freedom of thought
as happy as he was caught
feed him with laughter
to give energy back
pouring giggles over his neck
inflame him delightful
with a happy thought
again he comes back to life
I think this was my best thought
