Play It Again Poem by Bree Z Love

Play It Again

The song playing in the background,
drifted somewhere beneath me.
Surprisingly, slowly wrapping it's bass around,
My heels.
Quickly, grabbbed my calves. It loosen my legs, bound; to quiver to the strum,
ohh... it's in between my knees.
Riding the tempos.
My body rocked
You spoke.
Still entertained by, the mesmerizing sounds.
The song playing in the background had captivated me.
"I'm sorry, I did not hear the last thing you said."
" I am also, glad we had a chance to meet."
" The timing was perfect, I agreed."
Questioning, the vibe.
What is the name of this song?
What is the name of song, I repeat, this time out loud.
My mind carefully listened, curiosity lead me,
in the direction near the crowd.
Their so in tune, like the gathering keys.
Crossing over each chord.
The bridge I crossed, a drift on the wave
floating like on a cloud.
The song playing in the background,
fully I embraced.
My body rocked until there was no more sound,
beneath my dress and my knees,
Weak.
Heels, feet free!
I looked, you left the cafe
but I did not even care!
