Player Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Player

Ball

The soccer and the football,
The baseball and the tennis ball
Had a trajectory only half of it's own
For it was lead by the player.

Your life will not move by itself
In the correct direction
If you are not the leader.
Then you may be sorry but maybe exstatic.

For the effort and the action
You put forth will result in a hybrid way.
The player and the object will result together.
Your life then will see a fulfilled day.

Taking a cue from the games we play, you have put across a piece of philosophy beautifully and substantially. I like it. Thanks. For the effort and the action You put forth will result in a hybrid way. Your life then will see a fulfilled day.
