Playful Moon Poem by Ima Ryma

Playful Moon

Night time and so lovely and clear.
I knew it would be rising soon
In a few minutes to appear.
My two year old does love the moon.
We walked outside and I told Lee
The moon wanted to play a game
Of hide and seek, so who would be
First of the two of us to claim
Finding where that sly old moon hid?
On the path to the woods we went.
Racing ahead, the fact Lee did
Want to win was quite evident.

And my two year old yelled to me,
'Look Mom, the moon hid in that tree.'
