Playful Poem by Lori Boulard

Playful

Rating: 4.5

the cow jumped over the moon
but I would choose the sun instead
lucky it hides its face at night
for I would shun my bed

beware
for I might race straight up
to chase a distant star
and in the wink of a single eye
return to where you are

did you catch it?
what, you ask of me
I laugh and run ahead
just try to catch me if you can
and return with me to bed
