One Simple Wish Poem by Lori Boulard

One Simple Wish

Rating: 4.3

promise me
that when all is said and done
there will not have been
precious moments wasted
memories forgotten
or the sweetest roses passed–
such glories traded
for lesser things gained
in the rush
of keeping up
with life.

This is great Lori. I fear this same thing with life being so hectic it's easy to lose sight of what's really important. Lovely poem. Sincerely, Mary

Mmm, I hear you so well in this... Love needs TLC just like anything worth having. Life is short enough as it is, so... Thanks for this.

Now this in its own way is a very nicely controlled, well paced poem. Koozer would like this one.

Lori. I hope he keeps up his end, he is a fool otherwise! ! !

A simple yet bountiful wish. May it come true for more of us.
