Please Accept This Crust Of Bread (Final Version)

please accept this crust of bread.
may it be buttered with the sun.
with wildflower jam.

washed down with amber tea.
with forgotten happiness.
may it crunch when you bite into it
with the crunch of no more dreamlessness.

when you're hungry.
in a pickle
seeking serendipity
among the fickle
or merely alone in the day-to-day
with the moon behind the clouds

remember this piece of bread.
sing it outloud in a voice of pure
cream and raspberriesj
and be full.
