Please Come Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Please Come

Rating: 5.0

Everything tightens like a noose
Narrow passage soon to close
I wait for you with desert moons
Fields sigh in the summer wind
Your beauty of broken alabaster
Home where longing hearts smile
Wild flowers of gracious purple

Ripples delight the suns diffusion
Beauty comforts those in angst
Tides of letting go for the new day
Now the rain pours on my grave
I am still here waiting for you
Birds on the branch of spring
Please come?
