Please, Set Me Free

I was born free.
The world jailed me.
It gave me a name,
A caste, a faith, an aim
A citizenship, a language.
Thus, it did damage
My childhood, my youth
And taught me an untruth:
I am a social animal,
Civilised, powerful, adorable.
Caretaker of the planet,
Superior to crow, fish, rabbit,
The most peaceful being,
But, I go on killing
For creed, colour, race
Or for God's birthplace.
Unlike animals, birds, trees,
I am not at ease.
They breathe free, fly free,
On the land, over the sea.
Not needy of king or priest.
I envy everybeast.
I hate to be civilized.
Oops! I mean colonized.
Let me find true glee.
Please, set me free.
I hate to be mild.
Return me to the wild.
Society turned me bad.
Wilderness will make me glad.

    it is our country
and we take the pledge to defend the border's boundary
    it shall be our endeavour
to live and die for honour

Exceptionally prescient observations, we are animals driven to destructive creeds born from social construction. So glad this poem was chosen. Great write.

    (....)

The world is safety palace for human
    Human born free
But everywhere chained by wild and vengeance teeth

Everywhere the rules, regulations, creeds, cultures, scriptures
    Made by the opportunist human
The hypocrite human governs the whole
By the name of so called gods, helI, heaven
And makes victim of slaughter each other

So if human wanna feeedom from this havoc clutch
Then everyone needs to know him/herself
Needs to awake the true conscience of humanity

    This is the earth
    Beautiful garden of nature
    Human born free

In the time of human (part of nature)
There are no religion, creed, constitution, frontier, culture....
But the greedy predecessor names, teaches rules and regulations
According to own creed, ism and
    Spreads the venomous hatred

What a beautiful poem. When we can all accept that the supposed differences between us are just conditions placed on us by society at birth then maybe we can make a way for the world to live at peace.
