Plight Everywhere Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Plight Everywhere

We may insist
Still poverty may exist
The world is made to suffer
Rich are going to be there

Still we fight for dominance
Something out of ignorance
See the plight of poor man
He has no right to be called human

Not a single train you may find empty
People make it crowdedly
Yet railways suffers losses
The fault planning by bosses

So is the case with hospitals
People openly tell
“If you want to die”
Get admitted here and try

Only poor die daily
This is pathetic really
No one bothers about good treatment
It is certain death for patient

Who earns out of coffin business?
You bear pain along with clear loss
The dead body is awaited burial
But not given till doctor’s arrival
