Poem No: 71. O My Little Darling! So Quiet You're. Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Poem No: 71. O My Little Darling! So Quiet You're.

Rating: 5.0

O my little darling! So quiet you're.
When you stay with me I feel happy dear!
Your words are sweeter than a cuckoo's strain.
You dance so well that you seem a peahen.

When I go out you do bid me goodbye.
Whenever I come back you cry in joy.
When I get tired and feel almost drowsy,
You make me so fresh with playing with me.

So quickly you can catch what I teach thee.
So well you teach me how to be happy.
The more I see you the more you charm me.
It's you who inspire me to write poetry.

You are a rare gift sent by the Almighty.
But you I can't think of my entity.
