Poems Are Written On Our Souls Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poems Are Written On Our Souls

Rating: 5.0

poems are written on our souls
never far away in poetic mind souls
never far away in poetic beating hearts
never far from surface hidden in thought depths
poets live poems in random everyday thoughts
many of mine are never time written out
no time
yet poems

are everyday common place for us
as sacred as time breaths we breathe
poet has little or no valve in the life we live
until death unreachable uncrossable divide for market realities
when our stock is suddenly more valuable as a traded commodity
planned chance leavings are suddenly sacred if vogue status achieved

poets to a few in life were sacred all along
