I write my poems in the night
As I lay in bed
Remembering from the day
All the things I heard said

I pick up bits and pieces
Of things that people say
Than as I write them down
I arrange them in a poetic way

Creating a story
From words overheard
From the most mundane
To the most absurd

I find it to be a challenge
To come up with a poem
By taking words from others life
And I don't even know them

So when I write a poem
Whether non-fiction or not
I always try to include
All the tidbits that I got
