Poems Must Reveal Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You are not hurting any one
They are hurting rather everyone
They have one trump card for reaching number one
They will bring from no where and put as number one

They have proxy system to gather votes
We poets too go after it and support
I have seen many poets longing for number one
They will gather for ranks as proxy one

That is not matter for concern
They bring every one up to second position
Then you start falling like dry leaves
Your interest for elevation deserts

Why are we running for popularity?
It is there without asking in charity
I write here since years together
I remain reasonably somewhere

Else where you get recognition
How many might have aligned with relation?
I get hundreds of likes and dislikes
But it never affects mind or strikes

Do not allow or make space for someone
Write but with quality to be read by everyone
I have witnessed this “Kurukshetra”*here
Many known poets resort to dirty games from there

Write with no aim in mind
Number one or two is for them to find
We are here to write for self satisfaction
Poems must speak with clear indication
