Poems To Me - Poem by Fred Babbin

Don't take this too seriously

These poems are written for myself
So don’t complain
If they don’t scan
The way that you
would like them to.
They are not for you.

'So don't complain' is what I always say, Fred! If you write them for yourself, why inflict them on us? (Report)Reply

And check it out I did.I take my swings, as you see, at free verse and some rhyming poetry. As the mood strikes, I'll throw in some concret too. Sometimes I'm just playing wuth words, something seriously using them to prop myself up. I'm glad you let others look over you shoulder while you write! (Report)Reply
