I like to write more Poetry,
Daily, Hourly, ~ mostly at Night,
My pen I put to paper,
In Praise of YOU ~ I write.

My thoughts do ramble,
Quietly around my Brain,
Hoping words will come smoothly,
Without much Brain strain.

My Notebooks are a-filling,
More I have ordered today,
To write my Life in Poetry,
Whatever happens ~ come what may.

The Ward is quiet at the moment,
The cries have not yet begun,
Or the voices of the Nurses,
And some Patients after one.

A quiet night I hope for,
But will it or not so be,
Please let my night be peaceful,
As YOU do comfort me.
