Poetry In A Bubble Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Poetry In A Bubble

A poem bubbling
Inside of me
Won't keep still
Wants to be free
To soothe me like
A lullaby
Flowing with a happy melody
Cooing and singing
Wants to dance too
Come on,
Take my hand
Lets glide into the night
We will be the stars
Our laughter will take flight
And fill the sky,
ah, so much for dreams
And a poem wanting to be a
Lullaby!
