Poet's Last Breath, Again Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Poet's Last Breath, Again

Often thinking of last moments on earth and what they will contain, wondering whether they will be positive or negative, depending upon the circumstances this poet may be in.

Hoping against all hope to be writing in that exact moment, taking down in poetry, feelings, expectations and wonder of clearly dying and leaving the world this poet was born into.

Pausing silently, taking each moment in turn, not allowing fear or dread to interfere in the enlightenment of death's imminent position, awaiting this mere poet's last breath upon this earth.

Definitely looking forward to that last moment with interest and positive feelings of ending up in a beautiful avenue of heaven's gardens.

Hopefully finding self in the middle of those fascinating blue roses once again, just like when dying and going to heaven a few years ago.

It was an amazing and totally wonderful experience that this poet looks forward to participating in once again soon, no need for fear having been there before.
