We have had a bellyful of your political flimflameries
In this election, we won't be baited by your hollow promises
You previously promised to provide basic amenities
Only for us to realize your words were mere chicaneries.

Shameless and unrepentant politician
You think you are a political magician
This time your political abracadabra will fail you
In this election, we will know who is who.

Our vote is our hammer, with which we will knock you out
We are a formidable lot, power rest with the electorate
Those who will not do our bid, will face our wrath
We are the determiners of who gets power on this earth.

Politics of deception can no long thrive
We shall root it out through struggle and strive
You have tricked us more than twice
And now the scales have fallen off our eyes.

The era of deception is gone
A new political awareness has been born
Those who rode on our ignorance to power
Must bear the brunt of our anger.
