Ponderous thoughts do not give you
the answers that you need.
Ponderous thoughts do not relieve the pain
that made you bleed.
They do not restore your broken heart.
They do not give you the peace for a new start.

They make you stay, where you do not belong.
They keep you listening to the same old song.
They bring with them sadness and hopelessness.
They make you feel unworthy and like you are one big mess.

Do not ponder those thoughts so much.
Life will get better, it is such.
Look to your future with a smile on your face.
Live your life at your own pace.
