Pool Play - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Pool Play - Lincoln Park Zoo

It is a hot day - what to do
To keep this tiger awesome cool,
Outside here at Lincoln Park Zoo.
I'll take a dip in my own pool.
I really hate to splash alone,
But who's gonna go in with me?
Nothing that's made of flesh and bone.
How 'bout a ball - yep that can be.
I put on a great water show,
Beating and bouncing on the ball.
I'm mister show biz - doncha know!
Cheered on by watching humans all.

The balls - they never seem to last.
I rip them up awful darn fast.
