Poor and mass

God only knows
How many were sent to gallows?
Not allowed freedom
Never took services of their wisdom

How many were sent to prisoners?
And ordered for executions
They had place in mass graves
Along with countless

Even though with misplaced patriotism
At heart it was nationalism
Only the ruling system was different
Dictators were autocrat

Nation saw some progress
But people had no access
Their movement was restricted
And demonstrators mercilessly fired at and executed

We have seen cruel end of their span
Even though they looted country under plan
The economy suffered and wealth passed on to some classes
Real sufferer were poor and mass
