Poor Rumi Poem by Francis Duggan

Poor Rumi

Poor Rumi is into self loathing in quite a big way
Though self loathing does seldom stay with self that does seem sad to say
His hatred of self has expanded to take in others and Rumi spreads it around
Though on every internet literary site some like him to be found.

In Rumi with swear words there is no holding back
He is not selective on whom in his rude words he does attack
Most into self loathing more selective in their victims though than him just as rude
Into the feelings of others they do like to intrude.

In the garden the toxic herb or the noxious weed
To the garden proud gardener are unwelcome indeed
They spread and grow tall in the life giving showers
And shut out the light from the beautiful flowers.

Poor Rumi must be smoking wizzy weed or drinking lunatic juice
Or may be in his head he does have a little screw loose
And though his type will blame others for their downfall
He does seem one who does not seem well at all.

There are a few like Rumi on every internet literary site
But generally his type deep down know that they cannot write
The stuff that others would read and say here is a poet
Such people do never know of literary note.
