Portrait Of Lies (Mommy, I'M A Princess!) Poem by Elizabeth Sheaffer

Portrait Of Lies (Mommy, I'M A Princess!)

Portrait of lies
Fancy dresses and handbags
Perfect hair and make-up
Nothing but a disguise
We all wear rags
Pictures they take of
Us-Portraits of lies
Smiling faces
Nothing but joy
It's all a disguise
Going places
It's all a ploy
Our portrait of lies
