Possibility Causality Inevitability: In Traffic Accidents Poem by Terence George Craddock

Possibility Causality Inevitability: In Traffic Accidents

Rating: 5.0

possibility
causality
inevitability
are differing factors
when accessing
possible outcomes
speed as cause factors
in traffic accidents

might be an absent zero
a causation percentage
a major contributing cause
on rarer occasions sole cause
mass weight speed power increased
control impact damage death ratios

speed as consequences
appropriate to conditions
speed kills so does cancer
all behaviour poses potential
positive negative consequences
riding motorcycles driving cars
youth heart pumping adrenaline rushes
risks never riding driving fast enough

until we had to stop in a hurry
the necessity of sudden stops
always involves an element
of chilling fear shock surprise
if danger imminent death looms
life wisdom lessons teaches

reckless seconds cannot be risked

regret desperate desire to turn back time
but a few seconds to safe avoid disasters
is not never an option as grim reaper knows
death looms choice is coffins or hospital rooms
