Poui Tree Poem by Mariposa Mariposa

Poui Tree

As far as I know a poui has no scent
As far as I know I have none either
The tree has no beauty besides its flower
I had no beauty beside the poui.

Fear of failure and fear of disappointment existed but the poui never worried
times of blossom are planned but I saw it constant.

The poui holds all the power and I wanted to have
The poui's blossom will never die but the leaves renew in order to blossom.
The green mistakes were always there the timing and flow was always strained.

The veins that feed the heart of the trunk are blocked and the heart is the color u always mentioned u saw I just did not want to allow my bark to be engraved.

Now the flower has transformed into our nutrients yet again u have subconsciously nourished my fear. I was always so afraid a termite may be strong not knowing how to protect.
The tree in or garden bleeds for water and I prefer to have none for the poui as my fear and the flowers out of reach for others devours life......
Did not finish yet
