Poverty Defeats Morality Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poverty Defeats Morality

Rating: 5.0

evil sadly predictably
regularly beats defeats
highest ideals morality

poverty has a way wears
away resolute strength
with time cruel pitiless age

disease famine starvation
countless constant setbacks
defeats many eventually

defeats impoverished eventually?

faith hope honour bound
raises opposes reckless greed
brokers who freedom cage
