Love is blind, that’s all we hear
Having eyes it cannot bear,
A mother’s love is unconditional
Unbound to social customs
She oversees her son’s blunders
All she can see is a young strider
Whose face is the reflection of an angel and
whose deeds are as good as a saint
Love blindfolds her,
And she cannot see what’s real
Rather
She is in a deep dream
Where her son is just perfect
She gives him free will
And her only joy is loving him,
People tell her about his unkindness
‘but she keeps at steadfastness
One day we see,
Her love transforms him
into what he is like in her dream
