One night
I found myself standing by a shore
A door was there for me to pass
I stepped in and reached a land so strange
Where no birds ever sang, sun never rose
Just the darkness prevailed, making me afraid
Suddenly a darker figure appeared on the shore
I heard a roar
A voice so sour
My heart plead
My feet jammed, I screamed
And woke up from a bad dream
That morning I opened another door
And there was he smiling sweet smiles
My mind screached
Laughter with the roars mixed
Thus time passed
And tis I got
His smiles were hiding
The roars unbinding...
Now it touches my soul that
Was he the beast from the dream
Or my fear made him gleam..?
A good poem with nice flow and in attractive style.your description and presenting the surroundings are remarkable. I like this poem because you opened the both doors Sorrowful and joyous that seems to me the tides of life.
the flow is nice...though i would have a bit more rhyme...for easing it! but let me hastily add...it flows smooth as a brook...and i know how we feel, there... the theme is so contemporary and current...you Have done a great job in bringing the demons out of the dark dream... there is indeed a deeper meaning in your lines....i am sure the discerning eyes will pick it... well done and beautifully said.. keep going...GOD speed..! sat... :)
A well penned and poignant write full of imagery! 10+++ Keep it up! Love and Peace for always! ...
