Power Play Poem by DR KUSUMITA MUKHERJEE

Power Play

Rating: 5.0

The softest hearts get trodden upon the most
Those who love the most get hated the most
An unbalanced equation
Unfair

It is all about power play
Which party can successfully wield its power?
Which party can fortuitously manipulate the strings of the opponent's heart?
Make the opponent feel guilty perpetually
Let the opponent never understand the favour he bequeaths
But make grateful for the slightest favour bestowed upon him.

Attachment is the ruin of the man who loves too deeply
It forces him to kill
Not the one he loves
No
He can never do that
Rather he chooses to die.
Awards himself death
For he fails to comprehend the twisted rules of power play.
