That Midnight had rooted a fresh light
inside my heart;
That Dawn had sprouted a fresh feeling
within my soul;
That day, my body, my soul, my heart
were crazy with love;
That night, because of you,
my wit deserted me.

The day of your coming
my existence flowered,
But today, as if in a chilling winter,
all of my flowers have withered.

When you say "I love you", now,
you're telling it to someone else.
You have been my first love
And you're now my deepest regret,
since I still have you in my heart.
Yet, even without you I have a Powerful Feeling
Thanks to the memory of you
Hence, live your life and be happy
