The child dreamt a horrible dream,
The devil chased him and he ran and ran
To find out a secure shelter,
But he found it nowhere,
Even in the most inaccessible areas of the world,
The cruel devil reached to frighten him,
The little child was in dire straits.
Suddenly a great idea occurred to him,
He ran straight towards his mother's lap
And it was then, only then, he found himself completely safe;
The devil fled far away from there and never returned,
The loving child got the secure and cosy shelter in his mother's powerful lap.
