Praise God For The Assurance

Praise God for the assurance
Of when a loved one's gone
We'll be meeting in the bye and bye
It gives our heart a song
Sure there's disappointment
For the ending of their days
But being mindful of the future
Gives cause for grateful praise

Thank You Lord for evidence
That they came to know the Son
It's helps in the healing process
So we may continue on
In Your great grace and mercy
As the Father of all love
For revelation to us here
We'll meet again above

In our shock and numbness
Lord...You are ever near
So thankful for the closeness when
We come to You in prayer
And when those tears of sorrow
Begin their downward descent
They're mingled there with tears of joy
For we know..where he went!

Amen for that assurance Lord
Praises in Your direction
We know You as the Way...Truth...and Life
And Hallelujah! ... our Resurrection!
Praise You for the grace in grief
For Your love encompasses me
So thankful that a loved one knew
The Man of Calvary!
