burning words scorched inside my head
a flaming sword piercing through my heart
river of blood flowing out my wounds
from my earthly body soon i shall depart

going limp, breathing becomes shallow
body savagely beaten, horribly abused
no tears, lying on the floor, waiting to die
remembering the cruel words you used

i lie here dying, thoughts filling my brain
'God above, show your love', with my last breath
'God in heaven show mercy upon my soul
God up high, hear my prayers', my prayer for death
