Prayer For Exams!
As I sit down to open my book
I heave a great sigh telling,
'Here we go again! ', to myself
With a very perplexed and absurd look!
O Lord You know my weaknesses
So when I open my language note
Please help me to understand what the context is,
And give me memory to remember the memory quote.
O Lord when I open my mathematics,
Give me courage to face the FAT book!
Give me wisdom to learn the tricks,
And the formulae to flow in my mind like a brook.
O Lord when the science book is opened,
Strengthen my hand to draw well,
And if the answer is in Greek and Latin
Have mercy and help me, again I tell!
O Lord when the social science book is touched,
Please help me to recall what happened in class!
And the maps that are important so much
Guide me to the right place to pass!
Lord please be beside me always
And heal my exam fever,
To always come out of the maze
Satisfied and happy forever!
