Prayer Of Darkness Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Prayer Of Darkness

When I die, I don't care about a Heaven
Nor a Hell for here is where I'm free
As I suffer in myself forever
Death will bring me to my lasting peace

Don't cry, For I am not a soul with feeling
When I care; Life takes away from me
I have seen the face of Jesus
In his truth is lived life's suffering

Dear Angel of my darkness
My face reflects in thy eyes of green
As of now I have seen the new creation
And when you come; Leave me to my needs

I am as I was before, Me
I am the fire that drives my 'will, ' so free
In my passion my world shall last forever
Even if it were never meant to be

Oh thee who spoke of my own creation
Have you seen the worlds inside of me
Can you love, for I shall remain with my own creation
Just as mine who made the stars I see

Now I live and I died so many places
I died for what I once believed
Can blame be mine for saying, 'I'm uncaring'
You broke my heart, My ever trust in thee

So when I hear your voice once again calling
I will remain, For with thee I no longer wish eternity
I say thank you for sharing the life of your creation
But now it's time. My darkness waits for me
