Prayer To Be Loved Poem by james watkin

Prayer To Be Loved

Those hollow tickings, ache on ache
Heartbeats which resound.
Tear for tear, one begs a response;
Sympathy's; cloud-found.

In the prayerful night what descends
To dew-time, suited!
World's most needful voice is that cry
For love, most muted.

Wonderful verse dipped into the unfathomable beauty of spirituality.. Praying, a trance beyond words.. A great pleasure to read..
