Prayer To Father God Poem by Paul Sebastian

Prayer To Father God

Heavenly Father,
When I am lost
You go out to search me
Whatever the cost
Search dark pit where I may be

Caught in web's darkness, all broken
You rescue me, carry me on shoulders
You comfort me, heal my wounds
My soul, you renew; my spirit, you temper

You quench my thirst, renew my strength
Like a deer, I leap, for I am not weary
You watch over me wherever I went
Beside me you sit, when I am lonely

I am never alone, I feel your wind
Your Spirit lifts me high
You are the Wind beneath my wings
Like an eagle, you make me fly

You fill my heart with joy
Fill me your abundance
Peace by stream waters, I enjoy
Living to witness your brilliance

Wonderful and awesome Father, you are
Every soul bows to worship you
Lord of yesterday, today and forever
All creation confess you're alive and true

Glory be to you, Father
And to your Son, Jesus
And to Your Holy Spirit

Amen.
