Prayers Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Prayers

For time-long time
I meant to talk
To use one word
To mean sky
To be dusk, dawn
To be mountain
To be seabed
To be life, death
Paradise, Hell

Cupping my hands
River told me
“That is nature; a mom always”
“Father? ” I asked
“That is also, ” told me water.
From that time I live with all;
We are all one

I love you all
